We are proud and thankful to release our debut album! The music has been made and shaped over a period of several years. It means a lot to us, so we are very happy to release it to you in full CD length!

We started Damaskus in 2014 in Bergen, Norway, with a vision of playing original music with roots in the Scandinavian jazz tradition, but also with traits from all the other music we've grown up with and listen to. The album is a journey through our musical lives, characterised by contrasts, interplay, experimentation and bliss. We are both adults and children at the same time.

Recorded in Vestavind Studio, Bergen, Norway the spring of 2017.
